Mary For Mayor

Mary Beil Always Puts Community Interests First

As a long time and active member of the City of Parksville, I have been involved in supporting community connections. I have served two terms on City Council and am a retired Elementary School Principal. I have been very involved in the community. I worked on the campaign to save the Englishman River estuary, or the “Flats” as it was called, contributed to the Community Centre on Jensen Ave., (now the Jensen Centre), coached Ball, was a Scout Leader, co-founded a neighbourhood association, helped to build the school playground, am an active broom-buster, and helped to develop a neighbourhood park. I have always put community interests first.

My Goal

My goal is to bring steady leadership, informed decision making and a strong community voice to city hall. My campaign is about respectful collaboration, transparent local government, and balanced choices that protect what people love about Parksville while addressing concerns about water, growth, affordability, sustainability, and community well-being.
